In the first match of the World Cup 2019, everyone is expecting a high scoring match, based on the England vs Pakistan series which was played earlier this month.

With the strong batting line up like Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler, Joe Root, Jason Roy, England can easily score 340-350 in the opening match, whereas South Africa has also batsmen like Quinton de Kock, Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis, David Miller, who can easily chase the big target.

The bowlers will be the game changer as it will be interesting to see which bowling style will come out as the partnership breaker.

Dale Steyn will miss out the opening match as he is not fully fit from the injury he suffered in the IPL 2019.

How MS Dhoni performance in IPL 2019 will help India in the CWC 2019

The IPL 2019 was the pure gold for MS Dhoni as his performance in this IPL was at another level, he saved his team from losing the match and clinched the win from the opponent’s team from his super striking knocks.

As the Cricket World Cup, 2019, is not away and this performance indicates how this will help the Indian team in England and Wales in the upcoming mega event.

In the 12th season of the Indian Premier League MS Dhoni scored 416 from 15 matches at an average of 83.20, and out of the 12 innings, he played he was not out on 7 occasions. He also became the first Indian player to smash 200+ sixes in IPL history and also became the wicket-keeper with most no. of dismissals (132*) in Indian Premier League history.

This performance will help the Indian team in the situation like, if the team is stuck in the middle overs and the top order is gone and the team have a big target to achieve.

MS Dhoni is the most experienced cricketer in India’s squad for the World Cup as he had played three CWC (2007, 2011, & 2015), and was the captain of the 2011 World Cup winning team, which was the first incident in Cricket World Cup history where the host of the tournament emerged as the Champions.

As Virat Kohli is going to captain the team in the Cricket World Cup for the first time, the experience and guidance of MS Dhoni will help him a lot in the ICC CWC 2019 in England and Wales.
